Yesterday I found one offset on my normal ONZUKA grafted seedling (3months old) starting to be crest

Hi ToKra, That is what I do with mine. You will have a stronger pant with another engine. You'll have 2 plants with 2 engines not 1 stock with 2 plants. When I find some time I will show you exactly with proof of my plant...

That's a stroke of good luck Tokra!
If it were mine I'd cut off the big normal head to push growth to the crest. Then, when the crest is long enough to make three sections about 15-20mm, cut off two sections to regraft and leave a section on the original stock as insurance.

in my little experience i've noticed that cristate plants grow nice with strongrootstock and tend to revert if underfeeded to normal ones, so i agree with Mario, a personal rootstock can be a nice choice!

I cut off cristate offset and grafted it to Eriocereus jusberti yesterday, wish me good luck... or better wish good luck to stock, to stick together

Hi ToKra, in the first photo there is a cristate offset on the right hand side. In the 2nd. and 3rd. photo I grafted the cristate offset by itself. This will help the cristate plant to grow stronger and better. HAPPY???...
