there are some plants that have quite strange growth, also on own roots they produce a lot of offsets like these ones:

and this one from fukuryu seeds, the part in the back firstly developed like a crest and then it became multihead, but a crested part remains on it:

These are some of mine.

This is a myriostigma kikko nudum, sown 2007, just 1 plant among 7 is offsetting

and these are wild offsetting myriostigma fukuryu, sown 2007, most of the plants are offsetting.
