I bought this cactus from china on ebay, and planted it and watered it too soon (i think) and the roots fell off of it, can somebody please tell me what to do?? It is the beginning of the dormant season, so i don't know what to do. Should i leave it the way it is until spring ?? or will it last that long?? or put it under my lights??

so please be more precise: it lost just the terminal part of the roots or all the taproot below it? if it is about the terminal roots no problem, they will sprout again. if it was the whole taproot you shoud better think to an emergency graft.
PS: i think you bought it as own rooted, but the for of the plant is really similar to those de-grafted from hylocereus... in this case the roots might possibly still be hylocereus, which is particularly vulnerable to cold.
