Hi all,
We got about 70cm of snow in 2 days. I live in the Swiss mountains on 1270m above sea level, so snow in wintertime is normal, we are a ski-station.

The greenhouse is about 10m2, I heat it with 2 electric heaters, 2000 W each. It is covered with double-skin sheets on Plexigasl. The biggest problem on days like this is the condensed water and the drops, falling on the plants.

But normally the bigger problem is the sun in wintertime. If it does not snow, very often we have sunny days in winter, so the temperature goes up to 25°C in the greenhouse also in wintertime and teh plants are shrinking a lot. I sunny winters, I heat higher in February and begin to water...

Please, send us some snow in the box :) by priority airmail :)

here in Ukraine (Odessa) we had very dry spring, extremely dry summer and no rains during the autumn... now we have... rains... a lot of rains... every day... and no snow at all  :(

Hi Andi, try covering the roof from the inside with a large sheet of plastic and tilt it a bit so that condensation goes to a corner where you do not have plants. Try a quarter of your greenhouse as a test. What do you think??? ;)

I have only one small place in the greenhous, where condensate drops on the plants. I took the plants away, so it is no problem. Tommorrow we will have sun, so condensate will dry out.
