Myriostigma cv ginsya
« on: Friday, 26 September 2014 - 22:19:45 »
I bought 10 seeds of Astorophytum myriostigma cv khoyo, ginsya and sowed in 2003.
Unfortunately only 1 plant is remained currently.
Although the plant showed khoyo character when it was juvenile but no longer because it reaches to a mature age.
Currently the plant shows "ginsya" character clearly.
Ginsya means white sands.

G'morning Tomas

gin: silver
Sya: Japanese  traditional thin silk cloth
ginsya: the thin silk cloth netted in thin sliver yarn.

The character of the ginsya is showing the ginsya pattern over the cactus body.
