Ferofossulocactus
« on: Wednesday, 23 October 2013 - 22:55:24 »
Does anyone have an adult plant? Would be interesting to see, how this hybrid looks like.

I only have some young seedlings, grafted onto Selenicereus hybrid stock.

Some pictures from my collection:

The grafted seedlings have grown a bit, so I post some photos.

One of the grafted seedlings is nearly without thorns - maybe something weird will come out of this:

while the others seem normal:

Hello, I'm very curious to see one of your plants in a few years, I had never heard of until now.
Congratulations on the job!

The spineless Ferofossulocactus seedling develops nicely and turns more and more interesting, looking VERY different from both of it's parents:

That last one almost looks like a lophophora.  Nice plants

Hi Robinast,
That spineless one is looking very good! Can I ask you what the parent species for this cross are? It's fascinating!

So true lophofan, looks like 100% true lophophora. Will be interesting to see what it turns / grows into. Keep us posted robinast.
