Strombocactus disciformis 'corregidorae'
« on: Wednesday, 23 October 2013 - 22:52:53 »
Does anyone have an adult plant? Would ne nice to see a picture!  :)

I ordered the seeds from Köhres (Germany), but the gernination wasn't just good - 3 seedlings out of ten seeds. I grafted them soon after sprouting and luckily, it seems that all the three grafts were successful. The stock is Pereskiopsis and graft is less than three weeks old.

Looks nice, doesn't it?   :)  I'm thinking of regrafting the pups already, letting them grow a bit more...

SandiSLO ,what's the diameter of your nice plant?
Mine has growing a bit meanwhile, being 10 mm in diameter at the very present. And the spines' colour is deepening, probably due the Pereskiopsis rootstock. Two views of the same plant:

An another grafted seedling, 6 mm in diameter:

Hi,
I bought this plant in Chrudim in september. It had a little accident on the way home, thats why on the top some spines are missing. It is about 2cm in height.

Time goes and plants grow - a pure pleasure in such a dark and depressive time of the year...  :)

Offsets from the plant above

A cristate seedling?? Too good to hope too eagerly...
