Leuchtenbergia principis strange form

Hello,

Have you already such a strange form of Leuchtenbergia principis ?
A friend of mine got it in a seedling, and grafted a piece of it. It produces several head like this one.

Looks funny indeed! Have you removed the tips of tubercles or does the plant have those truncated-looking tubercles naturally?

Hello,
Some news about this plant: it has not grown at all since I posted this photo 2 years ago :-(
I was hoping it would offset in the same way than the mother plant, and that I would be able to reproduce it. Maybe later?
