myrtillo usually shrinks a lot, if it's a bit old I suggest you to change the soil frequently.
To regraft it is a bit large plant, you should have a big stock

Ok, I will do that,  because it has the very inlaid graft and it would be very difficult to graft it again
but if I donĀ“t  change the graft will die?

i want to give you a lile tip, you can just cut the mirillo at 3 cm and just peel  it to the core, leaving just the vascular bundle, let it dry and put it in roting medium the vascular bundle will start to produce roots soon and you will have a natural looking asterias with mirtillocactus roots, it was not really degrafted but....

 I have several plants with the old graft, I will try everything what you say to me
but I have the same doubt that Carlo & Daniele , can be done with all species?
(Hylocereus, Harrisia, Trichocereus, etc)

i've done it with good resultswith yilo and mirtillo, and see it done on harisia.
